    Broken Laptop Broken Customer Service

The laptop shipped broken from HP. The box was in perfect shape but the screen failed to turn on but oddly enough the touch screen works when plugged into the docking station. It is plagued with continuous freezes, it takes about 30-60 seconds to startup. While i admit I am spoiled since the days my 276 with the turbo button. My 8 year old XPS starts in about 7 seconds. Its got a Gen 10-10750H processor, 32 GB RAM, 1660 Ti, M2 SSD w/optaine memory and performance wise it loses to a 8 YO dell. Despite all that I am patient and a reasonable person. I must have a lemon and perhaps something is lose inside due to being a custom build. Customer service to the rescue? Nope! 5 “incident numbers” with notes and a promise that always starts i am sorry but I, will help you and ends with you will get a call in 2 days from our escalation’s team. It is December and this started in September. No call, no email, no snail mail, hotmail, gmail, smoke signal, courier pigeon, horse by night, or HAM radio message. So being a reasonable human I call and speak to an agent. I love how nice they are and we are getting along peachy. 35 minutes on hold, no problem at all, where i live is locked down like Alcatraz anyway so the hold music is the only thing keeping me sane. Then, you guessed it someone will call you in 2 days, Well that was last week so here i am posting a review and i will continue to do so because I do not want you to go through this. The honest truth, this happens at almost every company and the CS is the same, so i guess what you can take away from this is if all the CS sucks than the products are going to have to be pretty amazing, and, well they shipped me a broken product, Sooooooo… 1 point for the losing team and 0 points for the effort.
